As an experienced divorce litigator, Alison has seen how taxing divorce can be on not only the parties going through the process, but for the rest of their family as well. It is for this reason that she is such a proponent of the mediation process. Alison believes that mediation provides an excellent low-stress environment for couples to divorce and gives couples the control to craft creative solutions to their disputes.
Alison takes a compassionate approach to mediation and ensures that her clients feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. Having spent time working for the Special Victims Unit and Child Advocacy Center in Queens, New York, Alison understands how to interact with families in the most sensitive and stressful situations.
In addition to being a mediator at SnapDivorce, Alison is a litigator with Cooley & Handy, focusing her practice exclusively on family law. Prior to joining Cooley & Handy and SnapDivorce, Alison clerked for the Honorable Jack Panella of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
When she is not working, Alison enjoys spending time with family, traveling and swimming. As part of a long line of Penn State alumni, Alison loves spending time in Happy Valley visiting friends and cheering on the Nittany Lions.
