With 16 years of experience practicing divorce and family law in New York City and its surrounding counties, Jennifer boasts an unrivaled level of knowledge and insight. She is a certified practitioner in both divorce mediation and collaborative divorce, and her expertise has helped hundreds of couples achieve positive and amicable outcomes.
With professional ties to SnapDivorce founder Kevin Handy dating back to 1998, Jennifer has been an advocate and staunch believer in the company’s mission for over 20 years. She knows first-hand how effective mediation can be in facilitating a simple and cost-effective divorce for couples facing even the most challenging issues.
“Data shows that couples who mediate their cases report much higher levels of satisfaction post-divorce than couples who have gone through a contentious litigation process. I have seen these favorable outcomes first-hand for 16 years.”
Jennifer is masterful in empowering couples with creative and tailored solutions. Her thoughtful, approachable, and supportive guidance is instrumental in the mediation and uncontested divorce process. In addition to her training in mediation, Jennifer has enhanced her unique leadership and mediation techniques through completion of a course in divorce coaching.
In addition to being a divorce mediator for SnapDivorce, Jennifer is a partner at Kaminer Kouzi & Associates LLP, having co-founded the firm in 2008. Jennifer lives in Westchester County with her husband, three children, and her rescue dog, and enjoys traveling, hiking, running and using her Peloton bike in her spare time.
