Susan understands that divorce can be a stressful and emotional process that typically results in neither spouse feeling good about the final outcome. As a professionally trained and court certified mediator, Susan provides a more positive experience helping couples find creative and mutually acceptable solutions to the issues involved in divorce. She enables couples to find what works best for them.
During the mediation, Susan keeps the focus on the future. She helps couples answer the question “What will our lives look like at the end of this process?” Her listening and communication skills as well as her legal knowledge and years of mediation experience result in a comfortable low stress atmosphere and solutions-oriented process that leaves couples ready for the next chapter in their lives.
In addition to mediating for SnapDivorce, Susan has a private law practice and mediates in local Northern Virginia Courts. When not mediating, Susan enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and long walks with her dog.
